Stay up as long as you can catching up on paperwork. Try to set your alarm for two o’clock in the morning to keep working on it. Accidentally set it for two o’clock in the afternoon. Wake up at four o’clock in the morning, two hours “late.”
Keep working on paperwork.
Go to the office to drop off completed paperwork. And then straight to a client’s house. Come home for ten minutes to eat something before rushing to the next client’s house. Come home at three o’clock in the afternoon (one hour after your alarm actually went off) for 45 minutes in order to shower for the first time since the day before yesterday.
Write a quickie blog post about your day just to think about something other than paperwork. Shower. Get to next client by four o’clock. Get home sometime in the evening to keep working on paperwork until it’s completed (for the time being), probably 11 o’clock.
Crash in bed.
Think about how you need to procrastinate less. How much you like your clients. And even the chaos sometimes. How you’re going to get a Ph.D. in counseling someday. And do other really cool things in your life too. And how this is your start to being a really good counselor. And about how you may not make it through tomorrow, but you made it through today, and that is just peachy keen with you.
fun having a glimpse into your day.
