~  Feeling accomplished because I’ve done everything I wanted to by this point in my life (YWAM, Bachelor’s, Master’s, travel the world (see below – I’ve been there! (Norway)  I was so excited when I saw that picture on Pixdaus);  maybe by the end of the year I’ll be ready to share what’s next on my list of Things I want to do in my life (Hint:  it is not “Get married”)

In The Library

There’s a girl sitting across from me right now who has some really funky, but cool hair.  It’s really, really blond and looks like she’s had it in corn rows for the past week and just took it out.  It’s huge and crimpy.  But she pulls it off.  Even cooler is that she’s in a hoodie.  And I love hoodies.  They make anyone, even the dorkiest of us out there, look cool.  And I’m all about looking cool.  It’s like my highest mission in life.  Even superceding feeding hungry children.  Normally, I wear my hoodies with flashy earrings, because I like the kinda girlie-athlete look… it’s like, “Yes, see these earrings?  I’m a girl.  And see this hoodie from my soccer team?  I’m also an athlete.”  Hoodies are cozy, but can also be sexy (I use that word liberally), especially on guys.

I did not draw this. But I cropped it and felt its pain.

I’m actually in the library for a reason.  Research and reading.  I’ve done the research part, but when it came to the reading part… well, I decided I had nothing to say on my blog and any one reading it should know that.  So, I set out to write something without saying anything.

While listening to music.

My iPod is on shuffle.  I just skipped over two Christmas songs, which is funny because since Christmas I’ve been enjoying Christmas music a lot more.  Sometimes, like the last 3.5 months, the red & green warm fuzzies only see fit to strike me once Christmas has PASSED.  Why this is, I do not know, but if I thought about it I’m sure I could come up with a theory.  However, I have more important things to say right now.  Like, about a certain song that Pickle Man and I had a good time listening to while in his country.

Here it is…

… two words:  Altoids!

“With Bells On” by Dolly Parton

I am hopelessly in love with Christmas music.  No matter what time of year I hear it or what I’m doing at the time, it never fails to release all the joyful feelings of Christmas within me.  This first song (the video is a medley) is one of my all-time favorites….
