Understanding

Once upon a time there was a girl who tried to understand everything, especially things related in any way to the human experience.

She spent every waking moment – with the rare exception of moments when she would mercifully “zone out” – trying to understand.

The more she learned the more difficult it was to understand anything, as there was ever more information through which to filter.  That, however, did not stop or slow her from trying.  In fact, it did quite the opposite… increasing her desire and drive to understand something.  Anything.

As the years went by she began with increasing frequency to use herself (in addition to every other human she ever had contact with) as a lab rat, studying every thought and behavior.

The process was endless and often wearisome.

At the end of one particularly draining day, she wrote a blog post about it and went to sleep.
